Stock Clerk

Hours of Operation: The normal hours of operations are Monday -Saturday, 06:00 to 17:00 hrs., excluding Federal Holidays. Work may require work on Sundays and Federal holidays when operational requirements dictate.

Scope of Work:
Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisitions, or invoice. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications. Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Prepares periodic special or perpetual inventory of stock. Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory count and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusals of shipments. May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles. May distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued. May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock. May cut stock to fill order. Uses DSS and MCPALMS in the performance of the requirements.

Other task, duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
Ensure compliance with standard of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, government directives and company guidelines.

•Two years related experience.
•Familiar with the use of DSS, MCPALMS, WMS and other systems in the performanceof warehouse operations.
•Must be proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in Englishverbally and writing.
•Basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for thesuccessful completion of the work.
•Record-keeping techniques.
•Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
•Able to pass background check and drug screening.
•Complete all required government and contractor required training.
•Possess basic math and computer skills.
•Able to pass a physical if requires.
•Able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended period of time.
•Lift up to 40 lbs.
•Comply with state and federal laws.
